New aspirations

So, after neglecting this blog for well over a year I've decided to pick it up again and make something of it! The reason being that running my own company for the last three years has, not only aged me significantly, but made me realise that I need to choose a career path in fashion.

I've always loved the industry and always taken an interest in what people wear and especially what I wear. But I've never thought of working in fashion, until now. It's been the only constant in my life for at least a decade so why not make a career out if it? I realise that without any relevant educational experience in the field that I'm going to have to start from the bottom, but I'm willing to do what it takes.

I have a basic idea on some roles I could do; buyer, merchandiser or stylist. But looking at the job requirements based on my own history I will never be able to jump straight into one of those roles. So, I'm applying for Admin Assistants to those jobs and keeping my fingers crossed!
